Originally making Sea Bears as gifts I started selling them on consignment at a local store. Making my debut at
the Sitka Artisans Market helped create a small business Soo Soft Creations. I have since expanded my line
of artwork to include many other items such as headbands, scarves, mittens, neck pillows, travel pillows and
purses.  Each item made is unique and one of a kind.  I  also participate in the Silver Hand artist program
making Authentic Native Handicrafts from Alaska.
Originally from Kake, Alaska now residing in Sitka, Alaska with my family- husband Jeff, sons Jonathan
& Seth and daughter Morgan.  I have spent most of my lifetime in Kake, a small Tlingit village located in
Southeast Alaska.   I come from a fishing family which is very close. I am  the child of Woosh Ke Taan
(Eagle/Shark/Wolf) Clan through my mother Beatrice Axson Williams; I am the daughter of Kaach Adi
through my father, Gilbert Williams Sr.; my Tlingit name is Jix dul saan and I am the great-granddaughter
of Ka Kunda Gein, Lilly Rose Katasse who was a Tlingit Princess.
